We'll help you decide at your initial consultation. In general: Zepbound is ideal if you want brand-name FDA-approved medication with potential insurance coverage. Compound Tirzepatide uses vial-based pricing similar to the semaglutide program — great for flexibility. Compound Semaglutide is the most cost-effective entry point. All three are clinically supervised by a physician.
Both are GLP-1 receptor agonists that reduce appetite and support weight loss. Tirzepatide (the active ingredient in Zepbound) also activates GIP receptors, making it a dual-agonist — clinical trials have shown it produces greater average weight loss than semaglutide alone. We'll discuss which is the better fit based on your health history.
Our compound medications are sourced from licensed, FDA-registered compounding pharmacies that adhere to strict quality and sterility standards. We only work with pharmacies we trust. That said, compound medications are not FDA-approved as finished drug products — your physician will walk you through the considerations so you can make an informed choice.
Your first visit is a 45–60 minute initial medical exam. For Zepbound patients, a follow-up is scheduled 4–6 weeks after starting medication, then every 2–3 months. For compound programs, follow-ups are at least every 2 months. Between visits, you have access to your physician via email, phone, and text at no extra charge.
Renewal plans auto-renew unless cancelled at least 30 days prior to your renewal date. Please contact us directly to cancel or discuss pausing — we'll work with you. Both the Compound Semaglutide and Compound Tirzepatide programs have a minimum 6-month commitment.
We offer both in-person and telehealth visits. Body composition tracking (muscle mass, body fat) can only be done in-person, so we recommend at least some in-person visits. Telehealth is available and counts toward your required follow-up visits for medication refills.
The Compound Semaglutide and Compound Tirzepatide programs require a minimum 3-month initial commitment.
